You need a viewer that supports RLV, and supports turning RLV off (RLV is what makes restraints work, and turning it off is the "fix something broken" button)

Download - pick the "RLV" version (not NORLV or FTRLV)
M to swap between first person and not (First person is also called "mouselook")
In first person, can hold Alt to get a cursor back to select things
Press Enter to open the chat window
Mouse Scroll to zoom in an out. Zooming in far enough will switch to first person
Alt + Left Click and drag to pan camera around
Bottom toolbar > Camera Controls, has preset camera angles that restore your view to normal
RLV is commands issued by things that control your viewer (i.e. preventing you from moving, opening inventory, staying in mouselook, etc.)
Top toolbar > Advanced > Show RLV Menu
Top toolbar > RLV > RLV Status, shows all restrictions that equipped RLV items are forcing on you
When you need to take off an item that is locked via RLV
Top toolbar > Advanced > RLV Active Next Login (uncheck)
Exit Kokua, and log in again, and remove the item
Top toolbar > Advanced > RLV Active Next Login (check)
Exit Kokua, and log in again
An RLV Relay is an object you wear (sometimes a collar, or a HUD), that accepts commands from objects in the world (i.e. a X-cross) that control your viewer

Has multiple settings:
OFF - Things in world cannot interact with tou
ON/Ask - Things in world will prompt you if they want to interact (this includes traps asking "would you like to fall into this trap")
ON/Auto - Things in world will automatically interact with you (fun mode)
Can also be used to lock certain clothes items on, that you don't want to be able to take off
RLV Items in the world try and add to your #RLV folder
You should create this folder under My Inventory/#RLV
Create a folder in your inventory titled (exactly) #RLV/Core(nostrip)
Copy links (Copy -> Paste As Link) into this folder, anything that you don't want devices to strip off, i.e. body, hair, HUDs, etc.
System folders have a green icon, they are managed by SL
Suggestion: Bottom left gear menu > Hide empty system folders
Suggestion: Create a folder under My Inventory where all your items will go. Organize under this folder as desired.
Wearing Items:
Wear = Add to a slot (i.e. "Back", "Right Leg", "Shoulders"), and remove something if the slot is occupied.
Add = Add to a slot, but don't remove if the slot is occupied.
Attach To = Add to a specific slot, and remember it for future
Bottom toolbar > Outfits
Saves a full outfit to restore later.
Suggestion: Save a "Nude" outfit with all your body / hair / UI / HUDs on, and then some with clothes. Shopping requires non-nudity!

Maitreya Body
This is required for most/all clothes and restraints to fit - otherwise you are liable for many clipping / alpha issues. Most clothes + kinky things are modelled for this body

Alpha => Lets you mask out sections of your body, if clothes are overlapping
Layers => Works with "Appliers" to make outfits on your body, i.e. catsuits
Skin => Adjusts skin color
Hands/Feet => Adjusts hand/feed posing
Head
This affects restraints like gags, to be sized correctly for your head, and sometimes to interact with it. It may help fixing things like neck/body skin colour not aligning. Also looking how you want.

Kink on others can be complicated - there's a number of different ways you might be able to interact with them:
Devices in the world you can sometimes interact with, which have a UI for different options, including "Capture Avatar"
Bondage items may have hidden click areas (i.e. if you click on Ellie's back, you get a UI asking if you want to put on her armbinder)
Ctrl + Alt + T - Shows invisible surfaces (and things to click on)
Others may require asking the player to put on an outfit
Anything in your #RLV folder is technically browsable by other players, with some kit. It's complex.
Anyone with a CTS Wardrobe may also share a web link, which you can use a web UI to add/remove outfits to them
